Founded in 2008 by Christina Zipperlen, the Ananda Soul brand stands for jewellery that is made by hand in Bali. The brand attaches great importance to mindfulness, sustainability and responsible consumption. It was created not only to express creativity and respect for Balinese rituals and to inspire more personal empowerment, but also to make a difference in the world.

WERBUNG

Ananda Soul aims to encourage consumers to question their consumption and consider the impact of their daily choices on each other and the planet. The products are meant to bless and promote positive intentions while following a path of sustainable production and creation that does the least harm to Mother Earth.

Ananda Soul as a brand supports the women and children in the communities where the products are made, giving back. Over the years, Ananda Soul has supported a variety of initiatives that align with the core value of supporting the local land and community, especially women and children. Projects in recent years have ranged from supporting educational programmes, to employing mothers and their children, to funding initiatives that address various social and environmental issues facing the world today.

WERBUNG

The core of Ananda Soul’s jewellery is made from high quality, certified recycled 925 sterling silver and is sourced from a German company that refines its metals using environmentally friendly methods. Ananda Soul chooses the recycled silver route, which means that no additional mining is required to make the products. In addition, the bead and weave patterns are made by mothers of street children in Denpasar.

As a final and important step in the production cycle, all pieces of jewellery are blessed in a Balinese ceremony before they are sent out into the world. The Ananda Soul team comes together once a month under the guidance of a Balinese priest to gather affirmations, prayers, good intentions and energy to breathe life and blessings into the designs. The prayer is that the jewellery will uplift and bring joy to every person who comes into contact with it.
